Confidence
is admired,
Yet
strenuously acquired,
So she
puts on a brave façade,
Struggles
to beam even when deep down she is sad,
Yet she
fails once again,
For she
is flawed!
Every
day she battle insecurities,
In ways
we would never fathom,
She
braves a barrage of negatives,
Day in
day out,
Sometimes
it takes its toll on her
For she
is flawed!
Every so
often she falls,
Takes a
turn that turns out false,
For that
she is judged,
Accused,
misunderstood,
She
really can’t be perfect,
For she
is flawed!
They put
her on a pedestal,
Judge
her by their own standards,
They
yank her off the pedestal,
She
can’t match up to incredibly high standards,
It is
impossible,
For she
is flawed!
Sometimes
she says something mean,
Talks
before she thinks what she means,
Don’t we
all slip sometimes?
We are
not charged for it like major crimes,
For that
she is sorry,
For she
is flawed!
Cut her
some slack,
This
life is hard on everyone,
It
really is nice if someone has your back,
Every
once in a while when you go one wrong,
That’s
all she asks for,
For she
is flawed!
