Gal in my mirror

I smile,
she smiles,
her face lights up,
her eyes light up,
i risk vanity when i say,
she's prettier than i am any day,
this girl in my mirror!
she is wise,
wiser than i could be,
she has taught me,
to accept what is to be,
both sad and happy,
for then life is complete,
this girl in my mirror!
the other day,
i watched as her heart broke,
a crack here a crack there,
helpless to aid her,
for it was over a bloke,
yet cry she didnt,
this girl in my mirror!
she is confident,
more confident than i could be,
faces the world with a smile,
even when inside she could die,
in her beautiful eyes,
the world is all hers,
this girl in my mirror!
I admire her,
I falter as i emulate her,
Put simply,
i wish i was her,
someday,
i hope to be just like her,
this girl in my mirror!
